With the Struct integration, you can automatically import product data into prduct.com and ensure that your data is always up to date. Follow this guide to activate the integration, connect your Struct environment, and map your data fields.
Before you begin
Before you begin, you need two pieces of information from your Struct setup:
1. Struct URL
The URL typically follows the format:
https://api.xxxxxx.structpim.com
2. API-key
This is used to verify the integration between Struct and prduct.com. Typically in the format:
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
You can find both in your Struct administration.
How to activate the Struct integration
Go to Connections in the menu on the left.
Go to Integrations in the menu on the left.
Find the integration Struct in the list.
Click Struct and select Subscribe to activate the integration.
Go to the Settings tab.
Enter:
Struct URL
API-key
Once these details are validated, a new tab called Datamodel becomes available. This is where the mapping takes place.
Mapping data from Struct to prduct
Under Datamodel, prduct.com automatically retrieves all data points from your Struct setup via the API.
Here you can:
see all Struct fields we can read
map each data point to attributes in prduct.com
ensure that product data is placed correctly when products are pulled in
Example: If Struct contains a field such as “Material Type”, you can map it to the corresponding attribute in prduct.com.
Review and map all relevant fields before products are imported.
How to import products from Struct
When the data mapping is in place:
Go to the top right corner and click the green Pull Products button.
This starts the import of products from Struct.
You can follow the result via the log found by clicking the blue Logs button.
Find your Struct products in prduct.com
Find the imported products by:
Go to Data in the menu on the left.
Go to Shared Documents in the menu on the left.
Here you should:
Set Channel to Struct
Set Connection to Available to see all products available for import into your assortment
A list will now be displayed where the products can be transferred to your active product catalogue.
Note:
You can connect existing products already created in prduct.com with products from Struct.
You can also see products that are already Connected.
Check synchronization on each product
When a product is imported, you can open the individual product and see:
which attributes are synchronized
where there may be differences between prduct and Struct
This allows you to validate and troubleshoot your data mapping.
How to add a new field from Struct?
If you have created a new field in Struct it will automatically available for mapping in the Datamodel tab of the integration. Map this just like any other field.
Keep in mind the mapping is not done automatically and we do not save any fields that is not mapped.
