A datamodel is a template on what data attributes you would like to count towards the completeness score. You can see it as a recipe
Please note: This guide is about data models for "Supply Chain" which is for suppliers and customers.
And not documents (products, parts, packaging, etc.) This is a separate setting.
Regarding datamodels for documents see this guide.
Create a Supply Chain Data Model
The Supply Chain data model works much like other data models (for products, components, or batches). However, there are a few key differences to be aware of.
Create and manage custom attributes (columns)
When working with Supply Chain data, you don’t create custom attributes from the Data Models tab. Instead, you manage them directly from the Supply Chain page.
Go to your Supply Chain overview (either suppliers or customers).
Click Column Settings at the top of the page.
Add, edit, or remove custom columns here.
You can create up to 50 custom columns.
You can rename your custom attributes anytime.
You can toggle whether each column is visible or hidden.
This applies to both predefined and custom columns.
Configure your Supply Chain model
You can configure your Supply Chain data model as either:
Upstream (supplier-facing), or
Downstream (customer-facing)
To do this:
Go to Data → Data Models → Supply Chain Data Models.
Select whether the model should apply upstream or downstream.
Choose which data points* (custom or predefined) should count toward the Completeness Score.
*Note that These data points are managed from Supply Chain overview and under "Column Settings".
Manage your Completeness Score
From the Supply Chain data models (as described above), or directly from the Supply Chain overview, you can configure what contributes to your Completeness Score:
Click Completeness Score at the top of the 'Suppliers' or 'Customers' overview page (next to Column Settings).
Add or remove predefined attributes or custom data points.
Only selected data points will count toward the supplier’s completeness score.
This allows you to measure the quality and completeness of data provided by your suppliers or customers.
Import and update data
You can fill in your custom attributes (columns) in two ways:
Via CSV or Excel upload, to update multiple records at once.
Manually, by clicking the three dots in the in the column of a supplier or customer and entering data directly.
